Bharat Charge Announces Association with South Central Railway to Expand Ultra-Fast EV Charging Network

Three new EV charging hubs at Hyderabad railway stations to launch by August 15 – a gift of green mobility to India this Independence Day
Hyderabad (Telangana) [India]: Bharat Charge, a T-Hub incubated EV infrastructure startup, has announced an association with South Central Railway (SCR), a part of Indian Railways, to set up ultra-fast EV charging stations at three key railway stations in Hyderabad – HITEC City, Hafeezpet, and Begumpet. The stations are targeted to go live by August 15, 2026, timed as the company’s contribution to India’s 80th Independence Day.
HITEC City Railway Station will house a 360 kW ultra-fast charger with 6 charging guns – fast enough to take a compatible EV from low charge to a substantial range boost in under 20 minutes. Hafeezpet will get two 120 kW DC fast chargers, and Begumpet will feature a 180 kW fast charger with 4 charging guns – together offering some of the fastest public charging speeds available in the city today.
Alongside the railway station rollout, Bharat Charge also announced that mega charging hubs are coming soon across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, as part of its broader push to scale up high-capacity charging infrastructure in the two states.
“Being associated with South Central Railway is an important milestone for Bharat Charge. As a startup driven by innovation, our vision is to build a reliable and future-ready EV charging network that accelerates India’s transition to sustainable mobility,” said Pradhyumna Enugula, Founder & CEO, Bharat Charge.
Bharat Charge has been expanding across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, offering public charging stations, commercial and fleet charging infrastructure, and turnkey EPC services.
