1. Mindful Minimalism by Surekha K.
Surekha K won an award for her collection Mindful Minimalism, which defines sophistication by minimalism. A focused paring-back aesthetic from Surekha combines sophistication with practicality to show that less can indeed be more. Each garment is the result of conscious design—every stitch, every fabric choice, orienting one towards a meaningful and sustainable wardrobe. In a world saturated with excess at every turn, Surekha’s collection remains a poignant reminder that simplicity is powerful and has been a key tool of self-expression. Her work embodies a fashion trend that emphasises thoughtfulness over excess.
2. Black Mirror: The Vision of Tomorrow
Celebrated winners of the “Best Avant-Garde Collection Award,” Asha Pavithra, Gokulapriya R., and Nithya K. A. created the innovative collection “Black Mirror.” The cosmopolitan vibe of esports and gaming culture embraced the collection, which threw a futuristic perspective into the design picture. Motifs of technology-driven themes and experimental designs ushered the curtains open to avant-garde and left everyone present, along with the judges’ panel, in a state of wonder about their creative vision.
3. Ikigai: The Philosophy of Purpose
Presented by Amulya D. H., Bindhu Krishna K., and Pooja Iranna Gotur, “Ikigai” was a contemplative reflection of the Japanese philosophy of balance and purpose. It is this timeless, beautiful collection that captures the “Best Creative Adaptation Award” with its very thoughtful representation of harmony and elegance. Designs are done with integrity so that the philosophy of living life with intent and purpose is translated to life with many great re-echoes from the audiences.
4. Disconnect to Reconnect: A Melodic Mix
Rithika Agarwal and Asma Atheek created “Disconnect to Reconnect.” It is a collection depicting rediscovery of clarity and creativity through structured designs and fluid mixes that were highly blended harmoniously in the general collection, therefore depicting their journey for finding balance between chaos. It was an emotional depth of thought execution and thereby affected the audiences.
5. Trompe l’Oeil by Shashank V and Bhoomika Patel
Trompe l’Oeil is an aesthetically ravishing visual collection of winners for the Read-to-Wear Innovative Award, which has been brought out by Shashank V and Bhoomika Patel. Trompe l’Oeil is the term inspired by the concept of Maya, referring to an illusion. They have created a set collection playing with perception and reality, and the clothing is full of illusionary techniques, which is crossing the boundary of fashion. Each piece of clothing has transformed into a unique piece of art. Such lovely details and innovation in using fabric give surreal beauty to this design that crosses all barriers possible in the world of fashion.
6. The Boundless Skaters by Triveni R. and Paulina Hemish I
The winners in the list are Triveni R. and Paulina Hemish I, who came up with the rebellion-edged apparel collection called The Boundless Skaters and defined sustainability in that she explained wearing it makes her fearless like it is part of that skateboarder-inspire yet will forever care for ecology within fashion design because every stitch loudly defied standard fashion thinking about the value behind sustainable pieces since it still exudes class while being unshakeable into limitless change.
7. Mujo: The Beauty of Impermanence
It is “Mujo,” a poetic ode to Japanese ideas of impermanence, by Thakkar Harshita Atul, Thakkar Hrishita Atul, and Akriti Negi. This ethereal collection was celebrating life’s fleeting beauty and bagged the “Best Creatively Executed Collection Award.”Fluid fabrics and intricacies did create fullness and movements and change around the silhouette that seemed to take on the shape of capturing that spirit of impermanence.
